The Dell Music Center is hosting the Essence of Entertainment series every Thursday starting tonight & running through August 29th. Open air & big names. What more could you ask for? Tickets range from $25.00-$60.00. Shows start at 7.
The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing will screen Dark Knight Rises at 8 p.m. FREE
Schuylkill Banks by the Walnut Street Bridge will screen How to Train Your Dragon at 8:30 p.m. FREE
The Awesome Fest! will be screening Spaceballs at Drexel Park at 9:00 p.m. FREE
Friday July 12th
Friday Night BBQ Block Party at the Trestle Inn on Callowhill Street.
The Awesome Fest! will be screening E.T. the Extra Terrestrial at Eakins Oval at 9 p.m. FREE
The Blobfest starts tonight in Pheonixville & runs through Sunday with numerous events & 1950’s campy sci-fi double features.
The Barnes Foundation has extended their summer hours until 8 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays.
Cinema in the Cemetery will be screening House on Haunted Hill at 9 p.m. in Laurel Hill Cemetery. $10.00
Peddler’s Village is hosting a blueberries & bluegrass festival Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing has the Hispanic Fiesta full of music, dancing & cultural traditions Saturday & Sunday from 2-8 p.m. FREE
Summer on Summer Disco Dance Party at the Trestle Inn on Callowhill. 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Sunday July 14th
What a fun event for the kids! Bartram’s Garden is hosting an event with hand cranked homemade ice cream just like they made in the old days. Up the old school ante by taking a river boat from the Walnut Street dock right to the Gardens. Boats depart at noon & 1. Cost is $30.00 for the boat trip & includes entrance to the gardens along with a guided tour.
