Most Expensive Townhome in Philadelphia?

1901 Delancey Street in Rittenhouse Square Weighs in at a Hefty 8.2 Million

1901 Delancey Street AKA 306 S. 19th Street is a 13,000 square foot mansion that includes another property at 1921 Manning Street with 2 garage spaces & what should be plenty of unnecessary storage space for one that owns 13,000 square feet.  It appears to have undergone an extensive renovation creating an open, airy, modern & very white space.  I think this might be the most expensive town home on the market in Philadelphia.

Details:

13,000 designer square feet
5 bedrooms
4 bathrooms
3 half bathrooms
2 car garage
Technically 2 properties
A whopper of a tax bill at almost 33k a year

Most unique feature?  Natural light on all 4 sides.  Sigh.

The facade of the property in 1963 courtesy of one of my favorite websites for historical Philadelphia photos.  PhillyHistory.org is a mapping website that allows users to search for, view by location, and purchase thousands of historic photographs dating back to the late nineteenth century.   I just love the classic car out front.
