Today, October 7th, is the Deadline For AppealsOctober 7th 2013 is the Final Date to Appeal your Philadelphia Tax Assessment Jordan Brody & Co. Philadelphia Real Estate

Many homeowners got hit with an assessment bill that appears inaccurate.  If you believe that your assessment is truly inaccurate as determined by the OPA (Office of Property Assessment) you can appeal to the BRT (Board of Revision of Taxes).

While on appeal, you will pay your real estate taxes at the 2013 rate with no interest and penalty accruing until the BRT rules on your case.
