Trend Tuesday: The Porch Front Home
best philly neighborhoods for a porch front home
I read this article in the Wall Street Journal over the summer about how porches are gaining favor in new construction homes after decades in decline. I have to admit I kind of love it & have always wanted a house with a porch front. I imagine decorating it for fall, hanging out with a cocktail in the summer, setting pots out to welcome spring & if a front porch isn’t one of the best places for a hammock, well, then I’m not sure what is. It got me thinking about Philly neighborhoods (obvi) & which ones would a buyer have the most luck finding a cute house with a porch fronts. So, here they are (in my opinion).
