Ultimate at Home Coffee Bar
because…coffee is the best
You are probably asking yourself why set up a coffee bar in your home when Philly is literally teeming with coffee shops. Like La Columbe’s roastery/distillery mash up in Fishtown to Ultimo Coffee ranked America’s #1 coffee shop back in 2013 by The Daily Meal & every unique spot in between. Here are my reasons.
1. You can try out new beans (like this one which you can find in a Thai elephants #2).
2. You can make killer coffee when you have visitors (unless, of course, the hour is more suited to a killer cocktail then, go cocktail).
3. You work from home (no distractions!).
4. Or maybe you are super hungover & don’t feel like wearing pants. Not judging!
Anyway, here’s some inspiration if you decide to set one up yourself.
I am loving this fresh little set up that could work in even the most petite of kitchens.
Using a piece of furniture adds character without stealing precious counter space.
This industrial set up oozes a quirky charm with vintage pieces, iron & salvaged wood.
Utilizing wall space, baskets & hooks is perfect if you have a spot with no wall cabinets.
I imagine this as the perfect addition to a loft space.
Ikea has similar stainless shelving so you could build to suit your needs.
Imagine making your coffee right after showering so you can get caffeinated while getting ready.
I could see this as a way to utilize a master suite wet bar like what is found in our listings at Fairmount Estates.
I love this use of what could be an awkward & underutilized corner in a narrow kitchen.
